Mountain Shadow Golf Club

Mountain Shadow Golf Club is an 18-hole championship course with a par of 72, located approximately 40 minutes from Pattaya in Chonburi Province. Designed by renowned architect Ronald Fream and opened in 1993, the course measures 6,807 yards from the championship tees.

The course was developed within an existing mango plantation, with the mature trees and tropical flora still serving as defining hazards. It features tight fairways requiring accurate straight driving, and plays longer than its appearance suggests. The greens are notably fast with multiple slopes and levels, demanding precise positioning to avoid three-putt situations.

The signature hole is the par-3 17th, a visually stunning feature during blooming season. Players must carry a tranquil lotus-flowered pond bordered by multicolored flowering shrubbery to reach a deeply bunkered green. The course presents a challenging but fair test suitable for both beginners and experienced golfers, with strategic bunkering and water hazards throughout. The course underwent significant improvements following management changes, enhancing its condition and playability.
