Mountain View Golf Course is a nine-hole desert layout carved from northern Nevada terrain near Battle Mountain. Built in 1991, the course features tight doglegs, narrow fairways, and natural sagebrush that challenge players of all skill levels. Recent improvements include remodeled greens, new drainage systems, reconfigured and leveled tee boxes, and an expanded pond on hole #4.

The course presents varied difficulty across its holes. Hole #2, a par 3 measuring 195 yards from the men's tees, is rated the most challenging with its two-tiered green and deep grass bunker. Notable holes include the par 5 opening hole with the course's largest fairway, the dramatic par 4 seventh with its "Californian Hump" center tier, and the par 4 ninth featuring a pond that crosses the fairway. Strategic design elements throughout include grass bunkers, water hazards, and out-of-bounds areas that reward accurate shot placement.

The facility includes a practice green, driving range, and cart rentals available for 9 or 18 holes. A clubhouse serves food and beverages. The course operates on a walk-in basis with no tee times required.
