Highland Creek Golf Club is an 18-hole championship course located in Charlotte, North Carolina, designed by Clifton, Ezell, and Clifton. The course winds through towering trees and meandering creeks, preserving the natural beauty of the area. It features four sets of tees ranging from 5,080 to 7,000 yards with Bermudagrass greens and fairways, over 65 bunkers, and water features on 11 holes. The layout presents a moderate challenge while remaining accessible to all skill levels. The signature 9th hole, a Par 4, requires a precise tee shot to a narrow fairway with a creek lining the left side. Recently renovated, the course now features new hybrid Bermudagrass greens and improved bunkers and tee boxes. The facility includes a 15,000 square foot clubhouse with dining and bar, a 12,000 square foot putting green, chipping area, practice bunker, and driving range. The Highland Creek Beer Garden and Taproom provides course views and dining options.

Located two and a half hours from Johannesburg, nestled in the Steenkampsberg mountain range near Dullstroom, the Highland Gate Golf and Trout Estate features an Ernie Els signature golf course. The course is an 18-hole, par-72 championship layout spanning 6,710 meters from the back tees, incorporating dramatic elevation changes, natural water features, and indigenous vegetation. The course sits around 2,000 meters above sea level, perhaps the highest-up of any courses on major rankings. Rated by many as a Top 20 South African course, the expansive open parkland layout contains many excellent holes as it rolls its way through pleasantly undulating terrain. The pristine course takes advantage of the dramatic natural terrain and vegetation, featuring a mix of Highveld grasslands, stone 'koppies' inherent to the Dullstroom area, natural water features and sweeping changes in elevation. The layout features a particularly strong set of par-3s, with the 4th hole notable as an uphill approach to a well-shaped green. The 1,750-acre property spans 700 hectares with less than a third developed, preserving the natural landscape. The estate includes three fly-fishing dams in an area known as South Africa's premier fly-fishing destination. Outdoor activities available include hiking, fly fishing, mountain biking, and bird watching. The course is an 18-hole, par 72 layout measuring 6,315 yards with a course rating of 66.5 and slope rating of 116. The front nine is fairly flat and open while the back nine is rolling and tree-lined, with greens on the smaller side providing shorter birdie putts. The course is located at 2075 Oakland Drive in Highland, Michigan in Oakland County. The course operates from April to October. While not a long course, Highland Hills can be challenging for any golfer.

Highland Links is one of Cape Cod's oldest golf courses, founded circa 1892-1898 in North Truro, Massachusetts. Perched on windswept bluffs overlooking the Atlantic Ocean adjacent to the historic Highland Light, the course exemplifies authentic Scottish links golf tradition with deep natural rough, Scotch broom, and heath vegetation. The course features two sets of tees with a par of 70 for men (5,331 yards blue/white; 4,587 yards red/gold) and par 72 for women (5,331 yards blue/white; 4,587 yards red/gold). Originally laid out by Willard Small around the 1890s, it was redesigned in 1913 by J. Henry McKinley following a visit by Francis Ouimet, the legendary 1913 USGA Open Champion. Further refurbishment occurred in 1955 under owner Hal Conklin. The links gained federal status when the Cape Cod National Seashore was established in the 1960s. Recognized as a historic landmark, the Truro Highlands Historic District—which includes Highland Links, Highland Light, and the Highland House Museum—was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2011. Today, the course maintains its natural character through organic turf management practices developed in partnership with the National Park Service.
