Cherry Golf Kagoshima Seaside Course is a 18-hole, par-72 layout located in Hiji, Kagoshima Prefecture, Japan. The course opened on November 23, 1976, and was designed by Ken Sato, Toshisuke Maeshima, and Hishima Construction Co. Situated in a hilly, undulating terrain, the course plays on Tifton grass and offers a course rating of 72.1 from the back tees. The course is positioned to overlook the East China Sea, with numerous holes providing views of the water. The back tees measure 6,991 yards, with regular tees at 6,516 yards and ladies' tees at 5,308 yards. The front nine measures 3,528 yards from the back tees, while the back nine measures 3,463 yards. The layout includes three par-3s, five par-4s, and two par-5s on each side. The course is known for its strategic design, with undulating terrain that requires careful consideration of approach strategies on each hole. The second, third, and sixteenth holes are particularly noted for their memorable character. Play is conducted as a self-play round with five-person golf carts. The facility offers a clubhouse with a competition room, locker rooms, a restaurant, and bathing facilities. The course is located approximately five minutes from the Miyama Interchange on the Minami-Kyushu Expressway, or a ten-minute drive from JR Yunomoto Station or Higashi-Ichiki Station.
