Cherry Hills Country Club is one of America's most historic golf courses, founded in 1922 on 272 acres south of Denver, Colorado. Designed by renowned architect William Flynn, the course was selected by the United States Golf Association to host the 1938 U.S. Open, marking the first time the tournament was held west of the Mississippi River.

The course has established itself as a premier championship venue, hosting 14 different national championships throughout its history, including the U.S. Amateur in 2023. Cherry Hills holds a unique place in golf history as the site of Arnold Palmer's legendary 1960 U.S. Open victory, when Palmer famously drove the first green in the final round and carded a closing 65 to win. The course is also distinguished as only one of two in the United States, alongside Augusta National, where both Arnold Palmer and Jack Nicklaus won major championships.

Located in Cherry Hills Village near Denver, the course combines championship-caliber design with Colorado's natural landscape setting, establishing it as a significant venue in American golf.
