The layout features gently undulating watered fairways of Bermuda couch grass with sand greens. The course is noted as one of Victoria's driest winter courses, making it playable during seasons when many other courses are waterlogged. Rock Barn features 36 holes of award-winning golf in Conover, NC, with the Jackson Course open to the public and the Jones Course members-only. The Jackson Course was designed by Tom Jackson in 1969 and has a par of 71 at 6,427 yards. The Jackson Course is the older of the two courses having opened for play in 1969. The Jackson Course tumbles across picturesque valleys, offering both dramatic elevation changes and beautiful scenery, with the layout shorter and less demanding than the Jones Course but challenging nonetheless, as the undulating terrain demands accuracy and perfect ball placement. The Robert Trent Jones, Jr. Course was designed by Robert Trent Jones, Jr., is the more challenging of Rock Barn's courses, takes full advantage of the terrain as well as Lyle Creek which wanders throughout the property, and features 7,126 yards for a par of 72. The Jones Course was awarded best new Course in the state by North Carolina magazine in 2003. It was chosen by the PGA as an annual stop for the Senior Champions Tour event the Greater Hickory Classic at Rock Barn for over 13 years. Rock Barn Golf & Spa is located in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains about an hour north of Charlotte.

Rock Hill Golf Club opened in 1965 and was designed by architect Francis Duane. The 18-hole course plays to a par of 71 and stretches 7,050 yards from the longest tees. The course is located at 105 Clancy Road in Manorville, New York. Nestled in the heart of the Pine Barrens, the scenery is stunning year-round, with rolling fairways, towering pines, and beautifully maintained greens. The course is a challenging and somewhat hilly course that plays longer than most courses on Long Island. There are a few water hazards and plenty of trees lining the fairways and several undulating greens that make putting interesting. The course offers a good variety of holes, including uphill, downhill, doglegs right and left. The course has a slope rating of 136. The course is open to the public year-round. Rock Hill features bent grass greens and bent grass fairways. The facility offers a driving range, practice areas, PGA golf instruction, and an onsite restaurant and catering services.
