The 18-hole course blends parkland and links styles and sits on 119 acres of ground, of which 23 acres is native grass. The course is a par 70. Located in Post Falls, Idaho, the facility spans over 100 acres in a scenic mountain setting near Coeur d'Alene. The front nine is a player-friendly parkland layout with wide and forgiving fairways, while the back nine features a links-style design with narrow fairways and tricky greens with subtle breaks. The course is an 18-hole, par-71 layout measuring 6,277 yards with a slope rating of 116 and a course rating of 70.1, designed by John & Mike Weber. Located just north of Kearney, it is a Scottish links style course. The course features large, well-cared-for greens and lush fairways, with rough consisting of foot-high prairie grass and wildflowers, and ponds and bunkers found on several holes. The tenth hole is notable as one of the toughest holes, featuring an uphill tee shot over a marsh area to a narrow fairway lined with Nebraska gorse. The back nine plays tighter and requires good shotmaking skills, with water coming into play a few times on the front nine but not on the back nine. The course came under new ownership in Fall 2001 and underwent many improvements, including a brand new clubhouse. The facility now operates as a semi-private course offering membership and daily play options for golfers of varying skill levels.

The City of Bloomington opened the Roger Packard-designed Prairie Vista Golf Course on May 17, 1991. The course, which is an American Contemporary Style, measures 6,745 yards from the Championship Tees and 5,224 yards from the Forward Tees, with USGA Course Ratings and Slope Ratings of 72.2 and 129, respectively. Bentgrass tees, greens and fairways characterize the layout, with water hazards located on 16 of the 18 holes. The course rating is 71.6 and it has a slope rating of 127. Established in 1992, Prairie West provides one of the top golf dollar values around. As golfers venture through the round, they will notice a nod to the state's agricultural and historical past. A variety of tee box combinations provide players of all skill levels the opportunity to play a course length of their ability. The course is flat and open, but was surprisingly challenging, with very fast greens in great shape. Water also comes into play on many holes. Prairie West features championship greens, a courteous and professional staff, and private course amenities at a public course price. The facility includes a state of the art practice facility, meticulously manicured course, well-stocked pro shop, and spacious lounge.
