Prairie Trace Golf Course is located at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio and features two distinct courses. The West Course is an 18-hole layout measuring 6,824 yards with a par of 72, while the East Course is a 9-hole course measuring 2,732 yards with a par of 35. The West Course opened in 2007 and has a course rating of 74.0 with a slope rating of 132, while the East Course dates back to 1953. Both courses are managed by the U.S. Air Force Services Agency and are open to military and civilian personnel and their guests.

The courses feature relatively straightforward layouts with strategic elements that increase playability challenges. Mature trees are positioned throughout to provide additional difficulty, and players must execute accurate tee shots to avoid tall, thick rough. The courses are built on bent grass and offer well-groomed fairways and greens. The East Course, designed for walking with mostly flat terrain, serves as an accessible option for beginners and those warming up before the longer West Course.

The facility includes a driving range with practice tees, three practice putting greens, a pro shop, and on-site food service with a grill and snack bar. Golf carts and clubs are available for rent.
