Cassel Hills Golf Course is a championship-length par-71 course located in the middle of the beautiful Taylorsville Nature Reserve near Vandalia, Ohio, north of Dayton. The 18-hole course features 6,655 yards of golf with a course rating of 72.6 and a slope rating of 131. Designed by Scruggs & Hammonds/(R) Craig Schreiner, ASGCA, the course opened in 1974. The layout features two distinct nines with the first being a relatively flat, links-style design, while the back nine is much hillier.

Cassel Hills offers the best value in the Dayton area but it's not the easiest golf course. The massive greens, which average about 6,000 square feet, will make players think carefully about strategy for tackling them. The hilliness guarantees that there will be a few tricky blind shots, and golfers will want to have their short game skills ready. The back nine runs through a nature preserve.

Located just north of Dayton, Ohio, in Vandalia, Cassel Hills Golf Course is a municipal facility open to all. The course is perfect for leagues, outings, intimate weddings, banquets and meetings.
