Lew Wentz Golf Course is a premier 18-hole municipal golf course nestled on the scenic east side of Lake Ponca that has been a cornerstone of Ponca City's golfing community since 1953. The course was designed by architect Floyd Farley and features a par 71 layout with yardages of 5,949 from the white tees and 6,261 from the blue tees, with a course rating of 71 and slope of 116. The course's strategic layout features a mix of open fairways, tree-lined holes, and well-placed bunkers.

The 125-acre municipal course sits on rolling terrain and offers a challenging experience for golfers of all skill levels. The 18 holes are scattered with small lakes and plenty of trees. The course offers a balance of difficulty and enjoyment, making it a favorite for both beginners and scratch golfers alike. Lew Wentz has hosted numerous professional and amateur golf tournaments, including the prestigious Oklahoma Open, attracting top-tier golfers from around the region.
