Arkansas City Country Club opened in 1937 and was designed by Perry Maxwell, with the back nine added by Dick Metz in 1965. The par 72 course features 6,826 yards from the back tees. Located at 8731 East US Highway 166 in Arkansas City, Kansas, the course is played on Bermuda grass with a course rating of 72.3 and slope rating of 117. The layout features small elevated greens with significant contour changes, making the course extremely challenging.

The signature hole is number 7, a 225-yard par 3 that requires a tee shot directly into the wind. The course is situated on 144 acres and operates as part of a membership establishment that provides 24-hour, 7-day-a-week fitness, an 18-hole championship caliber golf course, and a full-size swimming pool. The bar and course are open to the public.
