Quail Ridge Golf Course, designed by Tulsa architect Jerry Slack, opened in 1992 and is located in South Central Kansas along the Walnut River in the Flint Hills region. Owned by the City of Winfield, the course features zoysia grass fairways, bent grass greens, and fescue roughs maintained by Golf Course Superintendent Jeremy Birdwell. The layout incorporates native grasses outlining many holes, providing scenic views of the landscape that separates the arid western prairies from the lush eastern prairies.

Golf Digest has consistently honored Quail Ridge as a 4½ Star course. The facility includes a driving range, short game practice area, practice green, and fully stocked pro shop. The clubhouse offers casual food and beverage service with seating for up to 30 people, while a covered pavilion accommodates up to 112 guests. Additional amenities include GPS monitors in golf cars and spacing between starting times to maintain pace of play. The course is available for tournament hosting and instruction programs.
