Turnhouse Golf Club

Turnhouse Golf Club is a James Braid-designed course located on the west side of Edinburgh, near Edinburgh International Airport. The course comprises two loops of nine holes that start and finish in front of the clubhouse, offering a traditional layout. The setting provides excellent views of the Pentland Hills to the south, with Fife and the Ochils visible to the north, situated in an open landscape characteristic of the Lothians region.

The club features comprehensive practice facilities including a driving range and short game areas, alongside a PGA Professional. The course welcomes visitors throughout the year and maintains an open, friendly atmosphere with active Men's, Women's and Junior sections. As a classic Braid design, the course reflects the architect's characteristic style of strategic play and balanced challenge, making it a notable addition to Edinburgh's golf offerings.
