Ladies greensomes strokeplay competition at Turnhouse Golf Club, played by 2-player teams off the 1st tee. Open to visiting non-member golfers; the entry fee is £15.00 for both members and visitors. Entries open online on Friday 8th January 2027 at 6:00pm. Handicap limit for all open competitions at the club is 36 for both men and ladies, and to win a prize you must have 3 competitive cards within the last 12 months of the date of competition played. Normal golf dress code applies and spikes may be worn.

Turnhouse Golf Club is a James Braid-designed course located on the west side of Edinburgh, near Edinburgh International Airport. The course comprises two loops of nine holes that start and finish in front of the clubhouse, offering a traditional layout. The setting provides excellent views of the Pentland Hills to the south, with Fife and the Ochils visible to the north, situated in an open landscape characteristic of the Lothians region. The club features comprehensive practice facilities including a driving range and short game areas, alongside a PGA Professional. The course welcomes visitors throughout the year and maintains an open, friendly atmosphere with active Men's, Women's and Junior sections.
