Mixed 4-person Texas Scramble at Turnhouse Golf Club, played on Sunday 8 August. Teams of four compete in a scramble format. Open to visiting non-member golfers; entries open online via the BRS booking platform from Friday 8 January at 6:00pm. Handicap limit for all open competitions at Turnhouse is 36 for both men and ladies. To win a prize, entrants must have 3 competitive cards within the last 12 months of the competition date. Normal golf dress code applies; spikes may be worn. The event is part of the club's open competitions programme and is listed on the Open Competitions page.

Turnhouse Golf Club is a James Braid-designed course located on the west side of Edinburgh, near Edinburgh International Airport. The course comprises two loops of nine holes that start and finish in front of the clubhouse, offering a traditional layout. The setting provides excellent views of the Pentland Hills to the south, with Fife and the Ochils visible to the north, situated in an open landscape characteristic of the Lothians region. The club features comprehensive practice facilities including a driving range and short game areas, alongside a PGA Professional. The course welcomes visitors throughout the year and maintains an open, friendly atmosphere with active Men's, Women's and Junior sections.
