Bruntsfield Links Golfing Society, founded in 1761, is the fourth oldest golf club in the world. Located just 3 miles from Edinburgh city centre, this mature parkland-style course features 18 holes and was originally designed by Willie Park Jnr. The layout has been refined by renowned architects including Dr Alister MacKenzie, James Braid, and Fred Hawtree.

In 2018, the course underwent significant redevelopment by Tom Macenzie of MacKenzie Ebert, which included a comprehensive review of all bunkering, remodelling of seven holes, and the introduction of three new holes. The course is set within a parkland landscape offering views and varied terrain typical of Scottish golf.

The club's prestige is underscored by its selection as a Qualifying Venue for The Open Championship between 2011-2015 by the R&A, demonstrating the course's championship-standard quality. Positioned one hour from St Andrews, Bruntsfield Links remains one of Scotland's most prestigious golfing establishments, combining historic significance with modern course management and facilities.
