Silverknowes Golf Course is an 18-hole parkland layout situated in the Silverknowes area of Edinburgh, northwest of the city centre. The course measures 6300 yards with a par of 71. It is located on the shore-front, offering commanding views across the water towards the Kingdom of Fife and Cramond Island. The terrain is defined by long, lush, and expansive fairways, with the layout incorporating a combination of mature and new trees that help define the holes and course boundaries.

The design provides a fairly gentle start before presenting a tougher finish, a challenge that is exacerbated by westerly winds. While the fairways are generous, several well-placed bunkers are positioned to catch wayward shots.
