The 18-hole New York course at the New York Country Club facility in Spring Valley, features 6,555 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72. The course rating is 71.5 and it has a slope rating of 129. Designed by Stephen Kay, ASGCA, the New York golf course opened in 1998. Nestled in the hills of Rockland County, New York Country Club is home to some of the most scenic locations in the tristate area. The grounds and facilities, designed by renowned architect Stephen Kay, feature expansive views of the Manhattan skyline and top-of-the-line amenities.
Voted as one of the "Best Places to Play" by Golf Digest, the course presents a moderately challenging layout with a variety of hazard types. The course features waste bunkers and water hazards on multiple holes, including water down the left side of some fairways and lateral water hazards and ponds guarding certain greens. Particular challenges include a short, well-bunkered par 3 that requires an accurate short iron shot to a small, very fast green.
New York Country Club is honored to host the Tommy Cup, a club championship tournament hosted in memory of a longtime member. The facility offers dining, event services, and practice amenities for members and daily-fee players.
