Men's Over 50's Open Betterball competition at Hessle Golf Club on Wednesday 26 August 2026. Starting times from 8:00am to 3:30pm. Format is 2-person betterball using Stableford scoring. Maximum handicap index 25.3 with 85% course handicap allowance. Entry fee is £56 per pair, which includes a basket of range balls. Open to male golfers aged 50 and over. All entrants must be members of an affiliated golf club and must have submitted a minimum of six fully completed 18-hole round scores for WHS Handicap purposes during the preceding twelve months, including a minimum of three from competition play. Where one member of a pair has not submitted the required six scores, the team will be ineligible to win a prize. Entry is online via the club's booking system. On arrival, report to the Registration Desk. Soft spikes are compulsory. Normal GUI/ILGU dress code applies. Cancellation policy: full refund minus transaction fee if cancelled more than one week before the event; 50% refund if cancelled less than one week in advance; no refund within 24 hours or on the day.
