The Ladies Scary Scramble Open is an open competition for ladies held at Mapperley Golf Course on Tuesday 13th October 2026. The event features a Texas Scramble format (teams of 3) played as a Medal Stableford competition. The shotgun start is at 10:00am. Players use the Red tees (Alternate, 10th par 3). The entry fee is £15 for visitors and £10 for members. The maximum handicap index allowed is 40.0; players with a higher index may enter but their playing handicap will be calculated using the maximum index. A handicap allowance of 30%, 20%, and 10% is applied from lowest to highest handicap within the team. Teams must have submitted at least 6 acceptable scores (including 3 in competition) within the 12 months prior to the competition to be eligible for prizes. Buggies may be pre-booked through the Pro Shop. The event is Halloween-themed with fancy dress encouraged, and there is a prize for the best fancy dress team. A guaranteed prize is offered to visitors. Entries can be made online, by phone, or in person at the Pro Shop.
