Ladies Open: Scary Scramble is an open team competition for ladies at Mapperley Golf Course, scheduled for Tuesday 13 October 2026. The event is a Texas Scramble in Medal format with a shotgun start at 10:00am. Teams of three are accepted. The entry fee is £15 for visitors (£10 for members). The maximum Handicap Index limit is 40.0. Players with a higher index may enter, but their playing handicap will be calculated using the maximum index. Handicap allowance is 30%, 20%, and 10% from lowest to highest handicap. The competition features a 4 tee shots minimum per player, with specific rules for ball placement on the green (within 6 inches), fairway height areas (within 12 inches), and elsewhere (drop within 1 club length). A guaranteed visitors' prize is awarded. Fancy dress is optional for a Halloween theme, with a best fancy dress team prize. Buggies may be pre-booked through the Pro Shop. Entries can be made online, in person at the Pro Shop, or by phone.
