Ladies' Texas Scramble open competition at Mapperley Golf Club, with all proceeds going to the Lady Captain's Charity. Players enter as individuals (up to 3 players can be booked together) and are drawn into teams of 3, with a 10:00am shotgun start. Play is Texas Scramble Medal on the Red Alternate tees from the 10th (par 3), course rating 72.3, slope 128. Handicap index limit is 40.0; players with a higher index may enter but their playing handicap is calculated using the maximum index. Handicap allowance is 30%, 20%, 10% from lowest to highest handicap, with a minimum of 4 tee shots per player. Entry is £10 per player, payable in person at the Pro Shop, by phone (0115 955 6673), or online via the BRS booking system. Prize eligibility requires all team players to hold a valid current Handicap Index and have submitted a minimum of 6 Acceptable Scores (including at least 3 in competition play) within the 12 months prior to the competition. Buggies may be pre-booked through the Pro Shop subject to availability.
