The Bribie Island District Veteran Golfers Carnival consists of 4 single stableford rounds played over 5 days across Bribie Island Golf Club and Pacific Harbour Golf & Country Club. Rounds are held at Bribie Island on Monday 21 September and Tuesday 22 September, followed by Pacific Harbour on Thursday 24 September and Friday 25 September. Entry fee is $60 per day at each venue plus a $30 carnival fee. All enquiries to carnival@bribieislandveterangolfers.org. Competitors must hold a current GA Handicap, be a full financial member of a recognised golf club, and a financial member of a Veteran Golf Association affiliated with the QVGA/AVGA. A current handicap is required. The event is open to visitors and non-members of the host clubs, though prizes for the overall carnival may be restricted to full members of the Bribie Island Golf Club and Bribie Vets.

Bribie Island Golf Club is an 18-hole, Par 72 championship course located in Woorim on Bribie Island, Queensland. The course is ranked among Australia's top 100 public access golf courses. Established in 1969, the club was founded by Don Mullen and Jim Jeppesen, with the course designed by renowned professional golfer and greenkeeper Arch McArthur, who compared the site's quality to St Andrews. The course is situated on a water and recreation reserve at Skirmish Point, offering a links-style layout characteristic of the natural landscape. The club features a modern air-conditioned clubhouse with an excellent restaurant, gaming facilities, and function spaces available for events and conferences. Social golf rounds are available daily at $62 for 18 holes or $36 for 9 holes, with motorised cart rental options. The club offers stay-and-play packages through partnership resorts and maintains an active junior golf program emphasizing sportsmanship and self-development. Regular special events and competitions are held throughout the year.
