The Bribie Island Wood Duck Challenge is a monthly handicap single stableford golf competition held at Bribie Island Golf Club on the second Friday of each month, culminating in a December final. Open to all male and female golfers with a GolfLink or GA (or equivalent overseas) registered handicap, with maximum men's handicap of 36 and maximum women's handicap of 45. Prizes include $150 for the overall best stableford score, $75 each for the best men's and women's stableford scores (excluding the overall winner, conditional on a minimum of 10 players of the same gender), a $10 run-down for 10% of total players, and a $50 bonus for any player scoring 38 points or more (excluding winners). Monthly men's and women's winners advance to the December final, and the best score from the December finals earns a free entry to every Wood Duck Challenge for the following year. Tee sheets are published 21 days prior to each event via the club website or Golf Shop. Motorised carts permitted on paths. Ties resolved using the standard R&A countback system.
