The Bribie Island Wood Duck Challenge is a recurring monthly golf event held on the second Friday of each month at Bribie Island Golf Club. The event is open to all male and female golfers with a GolfLink or GA (or equivalent overseas) registered handicap. It is a handicap single stableford event with a maximum men's handicap of 36 and maximum women's handicap of 45. Prizes include $150 for the overall best net score, $75 each for the best men's and best women's stableford scores (excluding the overall winner, conditional on a minimum of 10 players of the same gender), a $10 run-down for 10% of total players excluding winners, and a $50 bonus for any player scoring 38 points or more (excluding the top 2 or 3 winners). Players can purchase a Wood Duck burger for $12.50. Each monthly men's and women's winner qualifies for the December play-off, and the best score from the December finals earns a free entry to every Wood Duck Challenge for the following year. Tee times open 21 days prior to the event via the Bribie Island Golf Club website or Golf Shop. Motorised carts are permitted using cart paths. The MiScore app can be used for scoring. Ties are resolved using the standard R&A countback system.
