The Bribie Island Wood Duck Challenge is a monthly single-stableford competition held on the second Friday of each month. Open to all male and female golfers holding a GolfLink or Golf Australia (GA) registered handicap. Maximum handicap for men is 36 and for ladies is 45. Prizes include $150 for the best overall stableford score, $75 for the best men's net score and $75 for the best women's net score (conditional on a minimum of 10 players of each gender), plus a $10 run-down prize covering 10% of total players. Monthly winners advance to a December play-off. Tee times can be booked online via the club website or through the Golf Shop, opening 21 days prior to the event. Motorised carts are permitted on designated paths. Ties are resolved using the standard R&A countback procedure. A Wood Duck burger is available for purchase at $12.50.
