A monthly qualifying competition held at Katsuragi Golf Club (Yamana Course). The event uses a Double Par-3 (betterball) format where players compete in pairs with handicaps calculated to determine rankings. The top 20 scorers across the monthly qualifying series advance to the December finals. Prizes are awarded to winners and mailed separately; no prize-giving party is held. The entry fee of 19,700 JPY (tax included) is a special guest rate covering green fee, four-bag caddy fee, cart fee, and miscellaneous charges (food and drinks excluded). Additional caddy fees apply for extra bags: +1,320 JPY per person for two bags, +330 JPY per person for three bags. Bookings are accepted by phone. The club requires member introduction or accompaniment for guest play.

The front nine opens with a generous par 4 that allows for a free drive, but the green is protected by a large mound and significant slope. The back nine features a demanding par-3 11th hole measuring 166 yards from the back tees, which serves as the club's recommended target for proximity contests. The Ugari Course also plays to a par 72, stretching to 6,912 yards from the back markers. This layout emphasizes the natural topography, offering a mix of holes that require power and others that demand precision. The opening hole is a reachable par 5 that sets an aggressive tone for the round. The course is known for its generous fairways, making it suitable for hosting events, though the undulating terrain ensures that accuracy remains paramount throughout the round.
