August Weekday Golf Competition is a recurring individual competition held on weekdays throughout August at Katsuragi Golf Club (葛城ゴルフ倶楽部) in Shizuoka Prefecture. The event runs on multiple weekdays in August 2026, with each specific date played on either the Yamana Course or the Ugari Course. Players compete individually using the Double Par (ダブルペリア) scoring system, with monthly rankings determined across all competition days. There is no daily ranking — only the overall monthly standings count. Prizes are awarded for top placings (優勝, 準優勝, 飛賞) and are sent to winners after the competition period. The special guest rate is 21,700 JPY (tax included), which is a discounted rate compared to the standard green fee of 26,685 JPY. The fee includes green fee, four-bag caddy fee, cart fee, and miscellaneous charges (food and beverages separate). Single players are welcome to enter. Caddies are provided for all groups, and riding carts are available. The club operates year-round with no regular closure days.

The back nine features a demanding par-3 11th hole measuring 166 yards from the back tees, which serves as the club's recommended target for proximity contests. The Ugari Course also plays to a par 72, stretching to 6,912 yards from the back markers. This layout emphasizes the natural topography, offering a mix of holes that require power and others that demand precision. The opening hole is a reachable par 5 that sets an aggressive tone for the round.
