Sapporo Beer Golf Competition held at Katsuragi Golf Club (Yamana Course) on Thursday, July 30, 2026. This is an individual competition played over the first nine holes with double paria scoring (scores from the front and back nine are combined). The event offers prizes for the winner, runner-up, and driving distance (飛賞). Prize examples include Sapporo Beer company products, a four-person green fee voucher, and Katsuragi Golf Club lunch buffet invitation vouchers. The entry fee is 20,700 yen (tax included), which is a special guest play rate (regular rate is 26,685 yen). The fee includes green fee, four-ball caddie fee, cart fee, and miscellaneous charges (food and drinks excluded). Additional caddie fees apply for extra bags: +1,320 yen per person for two bags, +3,330 yen for three bags. Member-accompanied groups may be asked to play self-paced. Various invitation vouchers, discount vouchers, and promotional tickets are not applicable to guest play fees. The event is open to visiting non-member golfers at the special guest play rate.

The back nine features a demanding par-3 11th hole measuring 166 yards from the back tees, which serves as the club's recommended target for proximity contests. The Ugari Course also plays to a par 72, stretching to 6,912 yards from the back markers. This layout emphasizes the natural topography, offering a mix of holes that require power and others that demand precision. The opening hole is a reachable par 5 that sets an aggressive tone for the round. The course is known for its generous fairways, making it suitable for hosting events, though the undulating terrain ensures that accuracy remains paramount throughout the round.
