The August Weekday Golf Competition is a monthly team competition held at Katsuragi Golf Club (Yamana Course and Ugari Course) throughout August 2026. Each weekday in August features a separate single-day event. On 21 August 2026, the competition is played on the Yamana Course. The format is Double Paria, a team competition where players compete in teams of four with combined scores calculated using handicap allowances. Rankings are determined across all August competition days, with individual day standings not recorded separately. Prizes are awarded for overall winner, runner-up, and driving distance. The special guest rate is 21,700 JPY (tax included), which covers green fees, four-bag caddy fees, cart fees, and miscellaneous expenses (food and beverages separate). Caddy fees for additional bags beyond four are charged extra: 1,320 JPY per person for five bags and 3,300 JPY per person for six bags. Individual entry is accepted. Reservations can be made by phone at 0120-317-562. Guest vouchers and discount coupons cannot be applied to guest play fees. Member-accompanied groups may be asked to play self-paced. Prizes are mailed to winners after the competition period.

The back nine features a demanding par-3 11th hole measuring 166 yards from the back tees, which serves as the club's recommended target for proximity contests. The Ugari Course also plays to a par 72, stretching to 6,912 yards from the back markers. This layout emphasizes the natural topography, offering a mix of holes that require power and others that demand precision. The opening hole is a reachable par 5 that sets an aggressive tone for the round. The course is known for its generous fairways, making it suitable for hosting events, though the undulating terrain ensures that accuracy remains paramount throughout the round.
