The August Weekday Golf Competition is a monthly individual stableford-type competition held at Katsuragi Golf Club in Shizuoka Prefecture. This particular occurrence takes place on Thursday, August 13, 2026, on the Ugari Course. The competition uses a Double Par A (Double Paria) handicap scoring system, with rankings determined on a monthly basis rather than per-day. Winners, runners-up, and driving distance prize winners receive prizes that are sent after the competition. Single-player entries are accepted. The entry fee is 21,700 yen (tax included), which is a special rate for this competition (regular guest play rate is 26,685 yen). The fee includes green fee, four-bag caddie fee, cart fee, and miscellaneous charges (food and drinks separate). Caddie fees increase with additional bags: +1,320 yen per person for two bags, +3,300 yen per person for three bags. All groups are caddie-assisted with push cart usage available. Soft spikes only. Bookings can be made by phone at 0120-317-562. Dress code requires a jacket (suit, blazer, or jacket) during the cooler season; during the hot season (June to October), dress code is relaxed for heat prevention. T-shirts, tank tops, collarless shirts, and shorts that expose the ankles are not permitted. Visitors are welcome to enter this competition.

The front nine opens with a generous par 4 that allows for a free drive, but the green is protected by a large mound and significant slope. The back nine features a demanding par-3 11th hole measuring 166 yards from the back tees, which serves as the club's recommended target for proximity contests. The Ugari Course also plays to a par 72, stretching to 6,912 yards from the back markers. This layout emphasizes the natural topography, offering a mix of holes that require power and others that demand precision. The opening hole is a reachable par 5 that sets an aggressive tone for the round. The course is known for its generous fairways, making it suitable for hosting events, though the undulating terrain ensures that accuracy remains paramount throughout the round.
