Wednesday Golf

Onsdagsgolfen (Wednesday Golf) is Carlskrona GK's popular weekly competition held on Wednesdays, running from 15 April to 9 September 2026. The event is open to all golfers regardless of level or skill. It is a V.S.O.P (Valfri Start Och Partner) competition, allowing players to compete individually or in pairs with flexible start times between 08:00-17:50. Players' 10 best results during the season count towards the overall standings, with separate classifications for men and women. Men's points distribution: 20-15-12-10-8-6-5-4-3-2 (all other participants receive 1 point). Women's points distribution: 10-7-5-4-3-2 (all other participants receive 1 point). A final matchplay event is held on Sunday 13 September for participants who have competed in at least six weekly events; the final is played in lead balls and seeded. Entry fee is 60 SEK per event, payable online or at reception (Swish or card accepted; no cash). Physical scorecards must be submitted at the shop or in the designated drop box, signed by a marker. Additional competitions include a two-person team betterball event (200 SEK per team for the season, best 10 Wednesdays count), nearest the hole on hole 15, and an eclectic competition (100 SEK per person for the season, registration via the club office). On the first Wednesday of each month, players can choose their tee (men: white, yellow, blue, red; ladies: yellow, blue, red, orange). Golf carts are permitted without medical certificates for this event. Results are entered into the club's GIT system by staff; self-registration is not allowed. Team results and nearest the hole are displayed on the notice board in the clubhouse.
