Wednesday Golf

Onsdagsgolfen (Wednesday Golf) is Carlskrona GK's popular weekly competition held every Wednesday from 15 April to 9 September 2026. The event is open to all golfers with no start restrictions. Players compete in a V.S.O.P (Valfri Start Och Partner – Free Start and Partner) format, meaning you may choose your own start time between 08:00 and 17:50 on any Wednesday during the season. Your 10 best results from the season count towards the final standings. A final matchplay round takes place on Sunday 13 September for those who have participated in at least six weekly rounds. Separate men's and women's classes are run, with points awarded based on finishing position: men receive 20-15-12-10-8-6-5-4-3-2 points (all other finishers receive 1 point); women receive 10-7-5-4-3-2 points (all other finishers receive 1 point). The entry fee is 60 SEK per event, payable online or at reception via Swish or card. Players must submit physical scorecards signed by a marker to the shop or the designated scoring area. Additional side competitions include nearest-the-pin on hole 15 and an Eclectic competition (registration via the club office, 100 SEK per person for the season). A two-man team betterball competition is also available (200 SEK per team for the season, with the 8 best Wednesdays counting). The event requires an official CONGU handicap.
