Wednesday Golf

Wednesday Golf is Carlskrona GK's popular weekly competition held every Wednesday from 15 April to 9 September 2026, with a final on 13 September. The event is open to all golfers (men and ladies) with separate classifications (Herrklassen and Damklassen). It is played in a V.S.O.P (Valfri Start Och Partner) format, allowing players to choose their start time between 08:00-17:50 and compete on any Wednesday they wish during the season. The 10 best results count towards the season standings. A separate two-man team betterball competition is also available (8 best Wednesdays count, 200 SEK entry for the season). Entry is made online via GIT or by phone, with a fee of 60 SEK per individual competition. The event is open to visitors and non-members with no start restrictions. Handicap classes follow the club's general rules (A-D, up to 54). Results are submitted via physical scorecards or noted on the clubhouse noticeboard.
