Herbert D. Bracy York County Junior Open

The Herbert D. Bracy York County Junior Open takes place on July 14, 2026, at York Golf & Tennis Club in York, Maine. This is an individual strokeplay competition open to all junior golfers under the age of 19. It is part of the Maine Junior Open Series, which awards Maine Junior Player of the Year points. The event runs two coed flights — a High School Flight and a Middle School Flight (girls play from a similarly rated set of tees). Maximum handicap index is 16.0 for high school players and 28.0 for middle school players. Maximum field size is 60 players. The individual champion receives a trophy and Maine Golf voucher money; value depends on field size. Parents and spectators are welcome but must remain at least 50 feet from players and may not provide instruction or advice. Caddies are permitted provided they have basic knowledge of the game and do not slow pace of play.
