Ralph Michaud Northern Maine Junior Open

The Ralph Michaud Northern Maine Junior Open takes place on Friday, June 19, 2026, at Presque Isle Country Club in Presque Isle, Maine. This is an individual strokeplay competition open to all junior golfers under the age of 19. The event is part of the Maine Junior Open Series and offers Junior Player of the Year (POY) points. The series runs two coed flights — a High School Flight and a Middle School Flight (girls play from a similarly rated set of tees). The maximum field is 60 players. Maximum handicap index is 16.0 for high schoolers and 28.0 for middle schoolers. Entry fee is $30. The individual champion wins a trophy and Maine Golf voucher money; value depends on the size of the field. Parents and spectators may walk the course provided they remain at least 50 feet from players and do not give instruction or advice. Caddies are permitted provided they have basic knowledge of the game and do not slow pace of play. To register, a Golf Genius profile is required.
