Charlie's Maine Open

Charlie's Maine Open is a three-day junior individual strokeplay competition running June 22–24, 2026 (Monday–Wednesday) at Augusta Country Club in Manchester, Maine. The event is part of the Maine Junior Open Series and is open to all juniors under the age of 19. The maximum handicap index is 16.0 for high school players and 28.0 for middle school players. There are two coed flights: a High School Flight and a Middle School Flight (girls play from a similarly rated set of tees). Players may also enter an optional team (pick-your-partner) competition alongside the individual event. The individual champion and team champions each receive a trophy and Maine Golf voucher money; voucher amounts depend on field size. The low junior boy in Charlie's Maine Open earns an exemption onto the Maine Junior Team for the New England Junior Championship. Parents and spectators are welcome to walk the course provided they remain at least 50 feet from players and do not give instruction or advice. Caddies are permitted provided they have basic knowledge of the game and do not slow pace of play. Registration is completed online via Golf Genius.

Prizes

Individual champion receives a trophy and Maine Golf voucher money. Team champions receive a trophy and Maine Golf voucher money. Voucher amounts depend on field size.
