Built on the side of a mountain, the course features sloping fairways and lots of brush with a few blind par 3's. With water hazards that come into play on 12 of the 18 holes, this 6654 yard golf course may be short, but it is still challenging. The front nine was designed by legendary Michigan golf course architect Bruce Matthews and opened for play in 1970, while the back nine was originally designed by Jerry Matthews, son of Bruce, and opened for play in 1987.
