After a Robert Trent Jones upgrade in 1962, Brian Silva was hired in 2003 to restore the layout and recapture the essence of the original architecture, resulting in larger greens, sculpted fairways and authentic routing. The course is forgiving off the tee but is quite challenging around the greens, which are bold and exceptionally undulating. Prominent holes include par threes at the 222-yard 4th, where the green sits beside the Sippo Creek, and the heavily sand-protected 142-yard 14th.
