Brookside Golf & Country Club in Worthington features 18 holes and was designed by Charlie Lorms, founded in 1927. The course is nestled within 260 acres of pristine landscape in Worthington, Ohio. The 18-hole course features 7,126 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72. The course rating is 74.2 and it has a slope rating of 139 on bent grass.
The course was revitalized by Brian Silva in 2021 and is known for its classic design with engaging doglegs, challenging blind shots, firm and fast greens. The greens are compact yet roll exceptionally well, and with its deep bunkers and variety of hole locations, the course presents a dynamic experience that varies in difficulty with every round. Notable holes include Par 4 holes with doglegs and water hazards, as well as challenging Par 3s in redan-style designs.
The club has hosted many US Open qualifying competitions, and the Ohio State Amateur Championship was held here in 2012. Since 2000, Brookside Country Club has appeared in Golf Week Magazine's Top 100 America's Best Courses and is currently ranked #70.
