The Ohio State University Golf Club is located in central Columbus and operates two 18-hole courses: the Gray Course and the Scarlet Course. The Scarlet Course underwent a notable renovation by Jack Nicklaus in 2006. Rated among the top collegiate courses in the nation by Golf Channel, the club serves as home to the University's men and women's golf teams.
The facility hosts numerous competitive events, including the Kepler and Lady Buckeye tournaments, AJGA competitions, and most prominently, the Korn Ferry Tour's Nationwide Children's Hospital Championship. The club is semi-private, exclusively available to those with Ohio State University affiliation.
The course features instruction from two PGA professionals, a PGA Apprentice Professional, and a Director of Instruction who offer private lessons and clinics. The facility also includes a high-end restaurant available to the general public, catering both exclusive dining experiences and events. The golf operation supports Ohio State's 36 fully funded varsity athletic teams and over 1,000 student-athletes across multiple sports.
