Brookledge Golf Course first opened in 1941 and was re-opened with its current design by Arthur Hills in 1992. The course is nestled on over 120 acres of rolling hills and woodlands and is known for its challenging layout, impeccable course conditioning, challenging greens and professional staff. The 18-hole course features 6,318 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 70.
The course is challenging with trees lining the fairways and framing the greens, leaving little room for error off the tees or on the approaches, with greens that are subtly elevated and well protected by mounding and bunkers. The putting surfaces have mild undulations that can cause subtle breaks in putts, with trees playing a more prominent role on the back nine, especially on the closing holes.
The course was ranked as the ninth best golf course in Ohio per PGA.com's ranking. It is considered one of the finest public golf courses in northeast Ohio.
