The course is situated against the backdrop of the Great Smoky Mountains and was recently named Best Public Golf Course the last two years by the Tennessee Turfgrass Association. Sevierville Golf Club hosts many large-scale tournaments, including the TSSAA High School Tennessee State Golf Championship, the American Junior Golf Association Preview Qualifier, and the Bobby Nichols Intercollegiate Championship.
