The Pinon Nine is a mountain course with ponderosa trees bordering the fairway. Hole #2 consists of a very difficult uphill and long par 4 with a sloping green making it the hardest hole on the course. Hole #5 is a memorable Par 5 that has a fairway that narrows down towards the green with mature Ponderosas bordering the fairway.
