兵庫県

Nose Country Club is an 18-hole, par-72 course located in Kawanishi, Hyogo Prefecture, situated approximately 30 minutes from Osaka. Designed by Sozaburo Nishinishi, the course opened in 1960 after progressing from a nine-hole layout to a full eighteen-hole facility by 1962. The course measures 6,580 yards from the back tees and features Bentgrass greens. It is set in a landscape characterized by significant elevation changes, with a total height difference of 25.8 meters between the seventh tee and the green, creating a terrain of uphill and downhill shots throughout the round. The layout is defined by its undulating terrain and strategic hazards. The front nine begins with a wide but sloping fairway on the first hole, leading to the second, a dogleg left where the approach shot must navigate a two-tiered green. The third hole, a par-4 handicap 1, presents a left dogleg with steep mountain slopes on the left side and a fast two-tiered green. The fourth hole offers a dramatic 35-meter downhill view over a two-tiered green that slopes from left to right. The front nine concludes with the ninth hole, a flat par-3 requiring a carry over water, where pin placement significantly complicates distance calculation. The back nine introduces more severe elevation changes and penalty areas. The seventh hole is a long, straight uphill par-5 with a 25.8-meter rise from tee to green. The eleventh hole is a par-4 flanked by out-of-bounds on both sides, with a water hazard guarding the front of the green to create psychological pressure. The twelfth hole is a downhill par-3 with out-of-bounds to the right and lateral water hazards. The fifteenth and sixteenth holes are long, uphill par-5s that demand significant distance, with the fifteenth bordered by out-of-bounds on the left and residential areas beyond the fence. Significant challenges are found on the closing holes. The seventeenth hole is a par-4 where the second shot is hidden from view until the ball clears a flat hill, with deep bunkers and out-of-bounds guarding the green. The eighteenth hole finishes with a downhill first shot to a sloping second shot, with out-of-bounds protecting the left and back of the green. The course has hosted professional events, including the 1983 Kansai Professional Golf Championship and the 2013 Kansai Senior Women's Golf Championship. The club was founded by Sozaburo Nishinishi and maintains sister course relationships with Awaji Country Club, Omi Country Club, and Launceston Golf Club in Tasmania.
