Noyac Golf Club was founded in 1963 and originally designed by William Mitchell. Located in Sag Harbor, NY, the golf course sits on 144 acres of undulating parkland near Noyac Bay. The Club's 18-hole, par 72 course was designed by golf course architect William Mitchell and measures 7,041 yards from the championship tees with a rating of 74.8 and a slope of 138.
The parkland-style course is set on undulating forested terrain home to tight fairways and small, sloping greens. Playing host to a number of local and regional events, competitors consistently remark on the difficulty of the golf course. The course forces players to work the ball in multiple directions in order to handle doglegs and narrow approach windows.
In recent years, under the supervision of architect Ross Forbes, Noyac has undergone an extensive renovation which has improved the playing experience for its active membership. Renovations were focused on removing trees for expanded views and playing windows, as well as adding penal fescue areas that now border fairways and greens. The course includes a practice putting green, short game area, driving range and a state of the art indoor teaching facility.
