Mountain View Golf Course

NJ

Mountain View Golf Course is an 18-hole championship course located in Ewing Township, New Jersey, that opened in 1958. Designed by R. Ault, Clark & Associates, the course measures 6,117 yards from the regular tees and 6,682 yards from the championship tees with a par of 72. The layout features natural rolling hills and valleys and includes a 10-stall driving range. The course is open year-round and is accessible to players of all abilities, offering a moderate test of golf skills. The course is characterized by scenic tee shots and interesting hole layouts, with some narrow sections particularly on the back nine. A significant facility upgrade occurred in 2007 when a new 9,000-square-foot clubhouse and pro shop were completed, replacing the original structure that had stood for nearly 50 years. This clubhouse was recognized by Golf Inc. magazine as one of the top facilities in the nation, earning runner-up status for the 2007 "Clubhouse of the Year" competition. Mountain View serves as a public municipal course operated by the Mercer County Park Commission and welcomes golfers from both within and outside the county. The course accommodates golf outings, tournaments, and special events throughout the year.

Mountain View Golf Course

Located in Đồng Mô, Xã Đoài Phương, Hà Nội, the Mountain View course is an 18-hole, par-72 layout designed by the Australian firm Pacific Coast Designs and completed in 2004. The course spans 6,978 yards from the back tees and is set within a landscape defined by surrounding mountain ranges and the cultural village of Vietnam. The fairways are maintained with Novotec grass imported from Australia, a variety selected for its resilience against the local climate. The routing presents a mix of dogleg holes and straightaways that demand precision off the tee. The par-4 first hole features a left-side bunker and a water hazard positioned 40 yards from the green, while the par-4 ninth hole is guarded by a wide right fairway bunker and a water hazard running along the left side. The par-3 fourth hole offers a 210-yard carry over water to a green surrounded by sand traps, providing a significant early test for golfers. Water hazards and deep bunkers are recurring features throughout the round. The par-3 13th hole requires a shot over water to a green protected by sand, while the par-4 18th hole finishes with a dogleg left where the second shot must carry a small pond to a green fronted by bunkers on both sides. The course also features several par-5s, including the 12th and 15th, which offer scoring opportunities for long hitters but are constrained by fairway bunkers and tree lines. The design incorporates significant elevation changes and sloping greens that challenge approach shots. The par-3 6th hole is described as a scenic layout with water on the left and flower gardens on the right, while the par-4 8th hole requires a shot over water to a green that slopes from back-right to front-left. The 17th hole, a short par-3, features a narrow fairway and deep bunkers in front of a green that slopes from back to front.
