Moweaqua Golf Course

Moweaqua Golf Course is an 18-hole public course located one mile west of Moweaqua, Illinois. The course opened in 1993 as a nine-hole layout and expanded to 18 holes in 2003. It features four sets of tees with a maximum yardage of 6,300 yards, making it accessible to golfers of all skill levels.

The course is designed as a fair yet challenging layout with a good mix of holes. The original nine holes, which opened in 1993, now comprise the back nine, though the hole sequence was altered during the expansion. The course is maintained by superintendent Justin Woodrum and his team, and is known for being well-kept without being overly manicured.

Moweaqua Golf Course offers a relatively affordable alternative for public golf, with competitive green fees and multiple season pass options. The facility includes a driving range, pro shop with a wide selection of equipment and brands including Callaway, Cobra, Mizuno, Ping, Titleist, and TaylorMade, as well as a snack bar. The course is a popular venue for golf outings of various sizes and hosts tournaments throughout the year.
