Kokusai Ladies Golf Club is located in Shimidai-dai, Yachiyo City, Chiba Prefecture, situated approximately 28 kilometers from Marunouchi in Tokyo. The course is designed on a gentle, undulating terrain that the club describes as an "idea course," utilizing the natural landscape to create a layout that is considered challenging for men but refreshing for women. The facility operates as a women-priority course, though it welcomes male golfers and families for play. The 18-hole layout features a front nine with a par of 37 and a back nine with a par of 35, totaling 72 strokes. The front nine tees range from 300 to 350 yards on the par-5 first hole, down to a 90-to-110-yard par-3 seventh, with the back nine starting with a 300-yard par-4 tenth. The course includes a mix of hole lengths, with par-5s at the sixth and fifteenth holes measuring 410 yards, and par-3s at the seventh and sixteenth holes ranging from 90 to 110 yards. A defining characteristic of the course is the presence of exceptionally large putting surfaces. The second and eleventh holes are noted for their "famous greens," which are described as being 120 meters long, excluding Hokkaido, making them among the longest in Japan. The first hole also features a tee shot to a raised green with five different green configurations. The course design incorporates strategic hazards, including water hazards on the third, sixth, fifteenth, ninth, and eighteenth holes, as well as a valley in front of the twelfth hole. Specific yardage restrictions apply to certain holes based on club type. Men are permitted to use drivers on the first, tenth, fourth, thirteenth, fifth, and fourteenth holes. Conversely, men are prohibited from using wood clubs on the third, twelfth, sixth, fifteenth, ninth, and eighteenth holes. Both men and women are restricted from using wood clubs on the eighth and seventeenth holes. The layout demands precise approach shots, particularly on the water-bearing holes where receiving greens or hazards come into play.
