The Red and White courses play as a par-72 and stretch to 6,467 yards from the back tees. The two Donald Ross nines are laid out on gently undulating terrain, with the par-3 5th on the Red Course at 217 yards from the back tees serving as the #1 handicap hole. On the Blue Course, the property is flatter and lined with woods but challenges come from ravines and a large lake, including the par-4 fourth hole which is bisected by two ravines and at 336 yards demands two precise shots to reach the green in regulation. The course has earned a reputation among better golfers while remaining excellent for juniors and beginners, with the Red and White courses lacking forced carries and hazards that allow beginning golfers to play with minimal frustrations. Hamilton Farm is a private, 36-hole golf club set on the grounds of the former James Cox Brady estate in Somerset, New Jersey, located in Gladstone, New Jersey. The 18-hole Highlands course features 7,117 yards of golf for a par of 72 and opened in 2001, designed by the noted golf course design team of Dr. Michael Hurdzan and Dana Fry. The 196-yard 17th, "Calamity," emulates its namesake, the par three 14th hole on the Dunluce course at Royal Portrush. The club was 2019 & 2021 New Jersey PGA Club of the Year and ranked in Golf Digest Best Courses in State. The course hosted the HSBC Women's World Match Play Championship in 2005-06. The property also serves as the headquarters for the US Equestrian Team, which uses the facility for Olympic competition training.
